How to install qwwwik
1. Upload all the folders and files inside the QWWWIK folder into a web hosting package root folder using FileZilla FTP (free) or the web hosting package File Manager. The package should really be Linux with Apache Web Server or Litespeed but qwwwik will run on IIS as well, as long as PHP is enabled, which qwwwik requires on any web server, like most websites.
2. Before (or after) uploading it's best to rename the /admin/ folder to something less obvious. Then go to example.com/admin/ - or whatever you named the admin folder - and install the system by creating an 'administrator password'. Follow the 'Success' link to complete setup. The installer will automatically be deleted and can't be used again, for security.
That's all there is to it, five minutes max. Then start creating pages with a nice clean website to play with.
qwwwik can just as easily be installed in a subfolder, like example.com/web/ (or whatever). It will work just the same as example.com (the root folder) but with an extra folder in the web address. The content of each can be totally different.
Logging in and out
If you don't log out, login will last seven days then logout automatically. Log back in when required. If you forgot your administrator password when logged out, just create a new one from the login form and use that to log back in. You can change the password at any time, from the setup page in admin, but you must be logged in.
